It deals with the following questions and uses examples to explain how it works: What is a PLC? HMI, switchboard? SCADA system? Bus systems such as Profibus and Profinet? Industrial networks? Inverter? Servo technology? Robotics? or what is behind SIL 1, 2, 3 and 4.
